Colin Brooks - Managing Director

Colin has been Managing Director of REALM since its inception and incorporation in 2001. Prior to that he spent 14 years at MEPC, predominantly working on the development and asset management of their shopping centre and factory outlet portfolio. He started his career at Capital Shopping Centres in 1986 and qualified as a Chartered Surveyor in 1987. He is an Advisory Board Member for the British Council of Shopping Centres.

Mark Watts - Finance Director

Mark joined REALM as Financial Controller in February 2002 and was appointed Finance Director later that year to head up the Finance function for all client properties. Prior to joining REALM, Mark spent four years as Financial Controller at Bristol International Airport. He qualified as a Chartered Accountant with Pricewaterhouse Coopers in 1998.

Gordon Gabbani - Commercial Director

Gordon has been a Director of REALM since it commenced trading in January 2002. Prior to that Gordon spent over 20 years at MEPC where he headed the Shopping Centre Asset Management Team. Gordon qualified as a lawyer before starting his retail property career at Argyle Stores. At REALM Gordon has overall executive responsibility for the leasing, retail operations and marketing teams. Gordon is Chairman of The BCSC’s Diploma in Shopping Centre Management Advisory Board. Gordon was recently awarded the Shopping Centre magazine SCEPTRE Lifetime Achievement Award. He is also an Honorary Fellow of the College of Estate Management.

Nick Pakes - Projects and Facilities Director

Nick has been a Director of REALM since it commenced trading in January 2002, having responsibility for all construction projects carried out by REALM. He also has executive responsibility for the facilities management team. Prior to that Nick spent 23 years at MEPC where he worked extensively throughout the UK on the project management of major shopping centre and commercial office projects. Nick qualified as a Chartered Surveyor in 1980.

Dan Mason - Development Director

Dan has been a Director of REALM since it commenced trading in January 2002, having responsibility for the development management of all REALM’s development / redevelopment / refurbishment schemes. Prior to joining REALM, Dan worked for Cluttons, Humberts Leisure and MEPC. He qualified as a Chartered Surveyor in 1995.

Christine Finlay - Leasing Director

Christine joined REALM in 2004 as Leasing Manager and was appointed to the REALM board as Leasing Director in 2007. Prior to joining REALM she was European Leasing Manager with Freeport Plc from 1999 to 2004 where she worked on projects in Portugal, Czech Republic and Sweden. Christine has also worked at CB Hillier Parker in the Shopping Centre Leasing and Development Division and qualified as a Chartered Surveyor in 1993.

Angus Fyfe - Asset Management Director

Angus joined REALM in 2004 as Leasing Manager and was promoted to the REALM board as Asset Management Director in 2007 and has executive responsibility for business plan delivery on all core UK asset management leasing activity, including tenant mix management and lease renewals. He has previously held senior positions within BAA plc, Adidas and KPMG Consulting and has worked within the outlet industry since 1996.

Iain Watters - Consultant

Iain retired from MEPC in 2003, having joined them in 1971 and being promoted to the Group Board in 1988. During his time at MEPC he was Chairman of MEPC Germany Gmbh (responsible for the company’s activities in Austria, Germany, Sweden, Belgium and France) and finally was Executive Chairman of MEPC UK Limited (responsible for all Group’s activities in the UK). He was a member of the European Advisory Board of the International Council of Shopping Centres, Chairing the European Conference in 1997 and is a Past President of the British Council of Shopping Centres.
